Hong Kong, January 16, 2025 – Happiness Capital is proud to announce that our CEO, Eric Ng, has been reappointed as a member of the Policy Research Committee of the Financial Services Development Council (FSDC) for another two-year term. His reappointment, effective from January 17, 2025, marks Eric’s second consecutive term, further affirming his impactful contributions to shaping policies for Hong Kong’s financial services industry.
The FSDC plays a pivotal role in driving the growth and global positioning of Hong Kong as a premier international financial hub. Its six committees – Policy Research, Mainland Opportunities, New Business, Market Development, Human Capital, and Corporate Governance—provide strategic guidance to the Council.

Eric Ng is a seasoned entrepreneur and business leader with a remarkable track record of fostering innovation and driving growth. As the CEO of Happiness Capital, Eric leverages his extensive experience to invest in and mentor startups that create meaningful solutions to make the world a happier place.
Eric has also held influential roles, including Chief Client Officer at Wunderman Asia Pacific and Director of e-Business at Cap Gemini US, where he guided Fortune 500 companies in digital transformation strategies.
His early career began in academia, where he worked as a research scientist at University College London in the late 1980s, focusing on applying AI to healthcare as part of a European Union initiative.
